From 2023 to 2025
I organized 20+ bi-weekly design events on campus before working up to a leadership role which included coordinating 2 'design-a-thons' (CreateRU) and 1 grand co-working event (LockIn). In my final semester as president, I expanded Creative X beyond campus, bringing the team to NYC design and networking events, building a relationship that led to an invitation for the next board to join the Figma Campus Leaders Program. Lastly, I made sure to document and host meetings for handoff so that my successors could continue growing the community on campus.

If I could do it all over again…
Looking back, I didn’t establish a shared system early enough, which led to disjointed workflows. We improved later, but a clear structure from the start would have enabled much stronger results.
